Athena - WIP

Yeah, this summer expect to see a sharp decline in digital drawings and more scans put in.

This is a drawing of Athena, aka Minerva, or Pallas, goddess of Wisdom, Strategy, and Arts & Crafts. It's part of a larger mandala of gods and goddesses that is a work in progress, but I definitely like this particular piece. I think I did a good job in conveying her strength and skillfulness.

I took some liberties (of course) with the way she would be traditionally depicted, but the olive tree and the owl are her age-old attributes.
